I have a Imac with intel core 2 duo and I formatted the Hard Drive using DBAN, I cannot boot into safe mode and I cannot boot from the install DVD, The OS X is 10.6 Snow Leopard. The Imac does not show the Hard Drive when I am in the Boot Manager..

Solution
That means that it can't find a valid boot disk. As you are trying to boot off a DVD this may mean that it is bad. But it's worth going through the normal OS X trouble-shooting procedures: http://www.cultofmac.com/50685/how-to-fix-common-mac-startup-problems-macrx/
You've probably partitioned the drive as an MBR one, which means the OS X installer can't use it. It may even be that you formatted it with a non-OS X format.

Don't use third-party tools to partition and format the hard drive. Use the disk utility software on the install DVD for this purpose, and make sure that you choose a GPT partition layout.

Yes it's a Genuine Copy of Mac OS X snow leopard.. I have tried holding down C but it does will show the apple logo with the spinning wheel but after about 30 seconds it will change to a Circle with a slash through it.
