Want good reliable z97 board for no overclocking

This is my build and I already have some of the parts here and others on the way. I plan on doing no overclocking at the moment but may later on.The only thing I havent decided on was the mother board I was looking at the Asus Maximus VII Hero for $205.00. I Dont mind spending the money on it if its a great board but im always open to cheaper options. It looks like a really nice board and seems reliable. Do you guys recommend anything else?

For overclocking or not the HERO is a fantastic and reliable board , I own it.

Its also a future proof board right? I can get it at 195 with free shipping. You guys think we'll see a better deal on it this month?

Ive been reading a lot about faulty heros its my first build and i dont want to have problems right from the beginning

I just put together my HERO VII build , no issues.

Look for gigabyte boards.. Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H for example is a great board, they got some cheaper models with the z97 too, check their site

I'd suggest the Hero also, love mine and have built another 6 rigs on this mobo, the Z97-A from Asus is another great choice
