Robot99 :
I have the type and speed. Beside type, it says AMD A6-3420M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics.
I'm not sure if that is useful but that is all I have.
That's exactly what I needed to know. At this point what we're going to do is burn a copy of Windows 7 onto a blank disc, and use it to put an operating system back on your laptop. For this, you'll need a different computer to work with, which I'm assuming you have access to seeing as you're posting here. I'm going to write this as if you're using a Windows 7 computer. This computer will need a DVD drive to write DVDs with. You will also need a blank DVD.
Step 1: Go
here. This is a download for the Windows 7 Home Premium x64 ISO file. This is going to take a while to download. Depending on your internet speed, I would anticipate a couple of hours at least.
Step 2: Put your blank DVD into the DVD drive. Go to your Downloads folder. The path should be C:\Users\[Your User Name]\Downloads. Double click on the ISO file you just downloaded. It's called X17-58997.iso. Click Burn to burn the disc.
Step 3: Take your new Windows disc and put it into your laptop. When you turn it on, look for a message that tells you which button to press to bring up the boot menu. It's usually F12, F10, or ESC, but it might be different for you. If you miss it, don't worry; just restart and try again. Once you have your boot menu up, go ahead and select your DVD drive. If you don't know which option is your DVD drive, post the options here and I'll let you know what you need to choose. Once you've selected your DVD drive, a message may come up saying "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD..." Press any key. You should be able to go through Windows setup at this point. Let me know if you run into any issues.
