I tried to install a program called AVS Video Converter. It seemed to install fine, but disappeared from the folder it was in on the hard drive. When I reboot the machine, I constantly get an error message that says, You are attempting to open a file of type "System file" (.sys) and the program then attempts to install again. The program is listed in task manager under background processes, but if I try to close it, it starts opening numerous copies of itself. No virus is detected, and it will show the same error and try to re-install in safe mode as well. I have no clue how to try and stop this. It is not listed in start-up so I'm not sure what else to try.

Thanks

Sorry about that, wasn't sure what was being asked. http://www.avs4you.com/ was the site.

I tried logging in under a local administrator account and did not receive the error message or the install pop up, so only one account has this issue.
