I just built my new computer, I have a i5 4670, Asus h971 mini itx motherboard and im using the stock heatsink. When I render in programs such as Sony Vegas 12 & Cinema 4D I notice the temps which usually sit around 45 degrees jump up to around 75.. I read some forums saying this is fine and some said this isn't good. The max I read is 72. In cinema 4d renders take overnight and in Vegas they take only about 15minutes. Will this be a problem in the long run or should I try to invest in a new heat sink...? Also I've already looked to see if the Heatsink was seated right. I may have not put the thermal glue on right it was my first time putting a computer together.. I put a little dab then placed the Heat sink on top off it. Any suggestions?

These temps are actually fine. Even though the Tcase for most intel cpus stay around 72-77C they can run fine (without throttling) up to 90C. I just picked up a pentium g3258 and i got it to 4ghz on the stock cooler and it runs at about 89C max. While higher temps do reduce the life span of your cpu, its not by much (more voltage will significantly reduce the life span but you aren't overclocking so don't worry about that). If you have the cash i would get a aftermarket cooler (like a coolermaster hyper 212 evo) but it isn't necessary.
