Should I get this laptop or desktop?

I have only $700 to spend on a gaming pc, should I get this laptop hp envy 15t-j000 here is it's specs

17.3" 1080p
i7-4700mq
8gb Ram
1tb hdd
gt 740m

Or is there a desktop that is faster and under $700 including a monitor and keyboard?

The GTX 750 ti is 4 times better than the GT 740 graphics in the laptop. I included monitor and keyboard, but you might want to choose your own keyboard. This build is about 100 dollars more expensive, but it is worth it. Also buy an operating system.
