Hi there. :)

So, been looking at PCSpecialist, and I am considering ordering a Custom PC on Finance off them. The specifications would be...
13a7329b37.png

Total cost - £1,436.00 with delivery / Warrenty. (Only buying PreBuilt due to having the ability to get on Finance. :)

Is there anything I should change? Would there be any problems with it?

All suggestions are very welcome!
Thanks!

Recommendations:

-The FX-9370 is pointless, an overclocked FX-8350 will be a better choice IMO.

-Don't Crossfire if you only game on one monitor, unless it is a single 4K monitor.

-240GB of storage is not enough if it is for gaming, I presume it is. And especially when it is also in RAID 0, you will run out fast.

-You don't need a sound card unless you are working with sound programs.

-You don't even need a LAN port, the one with your motherboard can do.

Hey Joeteoh99, Thanks for the reply. :)

-Switched out the FX-9370 for a FX-8350, you made a good point.
-240GB SSD (Currently have another 120GB in my current build + 10TB HDD so should be enough.)
-Sound Card is on Board, Same with Lan Port, just doesn't say Onboard. :)
-The Crossfire, would you suggest switching it out for a 290x instead? Or just a normal 290?

Just checked, to build this build myself, It would cost me £1000, outright, or £1400 with an external company....

Would you think that a AMD Build would be best? Or possibly an I7 Build? (Just want opinions).
Use - Gaming / Livestreaming.

1. FX9370 is a thermal nightmare with almost no improvement above the FX8350.

2. Overspending on the motherboard.

3. 8GB of RAM is more than enough for gaming.

4. Getting a single R9 290 or GTX 970 would give more consistent FPS and cost less as well. They can also max any game at 1080p.

5. 120GB for a windows drive is enough, however more is a bit more convenient, but a SINGLE 240GB+ drive would be a better choice.

6. Forget raid0.

7. 750W-850w of a quality PSU is MORE than enough for 2 R9 280x cards or even 2 R9 290x, which is the highest wattage requirement single GPU card at the moment. A single GTX970 or R9 290 would not need more than 600w of a quality unit.

8. AOI liquid coolers are overrated and overpriced, large air cooling such as the Noctua NH-D14/D15 is cheaper, quieter and cool just as well.
Side note here, the FX series does have some heat spikes from time to time, the Hydro cooling will deal with that a little better than large air cooling.

The AMD FX 83xx and FX 9xxx series compares to intel I5s.
However Intel does provide generally better gaming performance in general at the moment. Hopefully this will change soon for some more competition.

The PSU is only Corsair... So, 850W should be fine, I guess.
16GB Ram, due to Rendering / odd bits of Animation, and 16Gb should last for a long time due to some new games wanting atleast 8gb... :)

Thanks for the help guys!
