Need help building a gaming desktop

Hi, I'm new to PC gaming and have no idea what specs I need and what a good system is. My budget is around £600-£800. I want the computer as a home entertainment system as well as a gaming PC I want to play games like Skyrim and dragon age origins on full quality. I also want to stream videos online.

but was worried the PSU wasn't strong enough and whether the system would have any overheating problems.

the power supply is under sized. want to use a good 650w for a gaming rig. you could get buy with a 600w unit but it always better to have a slightly larger unit then needed. on the motherboard use a h97 not the h81 chipset. the h97 with a bios update let you use the newer intel cpu. (brodwell when they drop). the cosair r200 not a bad small gaming case. the newer cpu and 900 line of gpu run cooler then the older hardware so as long as the new case has a few fans you be fine. (have the fans set up as front case fan pulling air in and have one or two fans on top blowing air out or one fan on top and one blowing air out the back of the case. with case fans ask or see if there four or three pin fans. four pin pmw fans can run slower on mb that have pmw fan plugs. 120mm case fans can be loud if there running at max speed. why you see some gamer with fan controllers in the cd rom bay.
