Hi Guys
My system's motherboard is Intel DG31PR, Chipset Model-P35/G33/G31, Processor Core 2 Duo E6550.
My by default graphic card is Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset (32mb).

I am looking to buy ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 Synergy Edition 2 GB DDR3
OR may be Asus NVIDIA GeForce EN210 Silent 1 GB DDR3.
Please tell me if they are compatible with motherboard?
and also which factors should I look for (for e.g. DDR3/5 or PCI/PCI-E etc etc) if I go for any other memory card
Thanks
Ankit

Hi,
That motherboard has PCI-E. So I would go for that.

In terms of DDR3 vs DDR5 on a GPU, go for DDR5.

What is your goal- watching videos/movies or gaming?

Thank You for such a quick response
I am not into much of gaming.. Its for movies and photoshop/After effects.

Just out of curiosity..how could we determine whether ddr3 or ddr5 are compatible? My Ram is DDR2.
And can you please provide a little more detail about HD7770 as I am a techy guy but only into softwares I dont understand much about hardwares.

DDR3/DDR5 on a GPU doesn't work with your system ddr2. DDR5 is faster than DDR3. DDR5 on a GPU is better to have. You can still have your DDR2 system RAM. No need to worry about that.

The HD7770 is a PCI-E card. It will fit into your system's motherboard. There isn't much to say about the card. It is an entry level gaming card, but is fine for movies too.

It has an HDMI port so it can bitstream audio and video out to a tv, which is nice.
