Recently I've been having problems with my CPU. After I turn on my pc I get the message "CPU fan error Press F1 to continue". I press F1, wait for a minute, turn off and then turn it on again and I no longer get an error message, the CPU is working as it should.

I checked the fan and it doesn't spin on the first boot. What seems to be the problem?

Solution
Check is the fan is greased on the bearings and without dust.

With the time some fans loose the grease on the bearings and had a hard time on starting to spin, after he's spinning is no problem.

If it's a special fan try to put some light grease or oil on the bearings, if its a standard one, just replace it, easier, faster and it's cheap.

I greased it and looks like this fixed it. Thanks!
