Hii Friends...

I recently install new 2 GB DDR2 RAM stick in my mobo.
My mobo has 4 ram slots.
But my Computer freezes at first screen (Boot screen).
My Specs are :-
CPU - Pentium Dual Core E5200 @2.5 Ghz
Mobo - HP Narmada TG33 MK
RAM - 2 GB (both 1 gb ddr2 sticks)
GPU - AMD HD 6670 1 GB DDR3
OS - Windows 7 64 bit

Thanks...! :)

Solution
Well, that's probably the problem. You're trying to mix and match modules with different speeds and timings. You need to use modules that are the same speed and latency. Sometimes mix and match modules WILL work, but not always, and it almost always leads to inconsistent behavior.
Are you using the original PSU? Two things here.

A lot of OEM boards don't like to use 4 modules, even though they have the slots for them, especially if all four modules are not exactly the same.

Two, if you're using the OEM PSU it was likely a cheap unit, configured to supply only the bare minimum of what the system needed and if upgraded hardware with more stringent requirements has been installed you may be beyond what it is capable of delivering. What is the brand and model number of your PSU?

Also, what are the model numbers of your old and new RAM modules and/or their speeds?

Yes i am using my old PSU..
PSU - 300 watt

My old ram sticks details are :-
1. Samsung 1 GB DDR2 PC2 6400 @400 Mhz
2. Manufacture not known.. but 1 GB DDR2 @333 Mhz

3. my new ram stick = Dynet 2 GB DDR2 PC2 6400 @400 Mhz

NOTE :- Freq. are noted from CPU-Z.

Thanks...! :)

Well, you've got different sizes, brands, speeds and timings on all three modules. It's not surprising it doesn't want to run. Also, I'm not too sure about Dynet. Not familiar with that brand, which is a bad thing because I should be. They still may make decent memory, but I don't know on that. I'd remove the unknown brand module that's a 333mhz stick and see if it runs with the other two. It may not want to play nice at the lower speed which they are probably all being reduced to because of it.

Yes all fine with old RAM...!
All problems start when i trying any of the two new ram sticks.
(One of 1 gb & other will be 2 gb)

Thankyou.. :)
