Which should I get? GTX 770, 780, or 970?

Hi everybody.

I'm looking for a card that will be able to run run the following games completely maxed out, heavily modded, 1080p, with at least 30fps. My goal is to spend as little as possible to get the job done. The 770's range anywhere from $250-300 now. I'm deciding between the 770 (2GB), 780, 780 ti, and 970. Will the 970 be total overkill?

What are you matching it with? All of them should be able to do that currently.

What do you think about the GTX 770 for Skyrim heavily modded? Will the 2GB vRAM be enough?

I would decide between the MSI Twin Frozr and Gigabyte WindForce. They're both significantly cheaper than the 970 right now.

Skyrim modded is one of those games that is a ram hog and based on that I would look for more Vram especially ince you are going I7 in few months. Based on that I would go GTX970 so you are ready for the I7 or even a deal on GTX780http://pcpartpicker.com/part/pny-video-card-vcggtx7803xpbccoc

Yeah, I literally had a 970 in my cart but held off. I really want the Windforce but was trying to be super budget and consider the 770.

Perhaps the 970 will be the best choice for now. I'm sure it will last quite some time without having to upgrade.
