I ordered a cable froma reseller on Newegg and it said it was esata to sata 3. The esata end of the cable is much too small and not powered to fit my esata port on the front panel of my case, a Rosewill Ultra Hawk Super Tower gaming case. A solution to this is appreciated. I am Not interested in work arounds with usb.

Why do you need to connect an SSD to your eSATA port? Normally that requires a dock or drive enclosure like this
