I don't know anything about video editing.But,I want to buy a program for my new mac.I want the one that has more features and is more versatile.I don't care about user friendliness,as I can take a course for understanding the features.Please recommend to me one of the above softwares.

Premiere Pro CC is available as a subscription (updates to new versions are included in the monthly subscription fee) only and not as a stand alone purchase where as you can purchase Final Cut Pro X with a one time free.

I agree with Ijack, you should do a search and see what others have to say about it. I use Premiere Pro (on a Mac and PC) but can't tell you which one is best since I've no experience with Final Cut Pro X.
