hey guys...i have a seasonic m12 II 520 watts..i currently have an hd 7850 2gb, i would like to know whats the best gpu (be it amd or nvidia) can my psu "hold"? if ever i want to upgrade my gpu

Pick a card, any card.

A GTX970 or R9 290 could run on that PSU, although the R9 290 would be a bit close.

You're not going anywhere with an i3, so I wouldn't worry too much about the PSU. Any card bigger than what you already have, give or take a step or two, is going to bottleneck like a boa swallowing a horse.

Perfectly seriously, I3s are perfectly capable of running modern games, in some cases they do not perform great in games that need more than 2 cores to run well, but they can still run those games.

Yeah, I guess on some titles. Seems funny though that the G3258 dual cores are dogs without big overclocks, on most titles. I guess I set the standard too high sometimes. I still don't like it though. Get an i5 dammit. And have fun. Smile.

I have a pet peeve against the Pentium G3258, people are getting it because it CAN perform better than the I3 with an overclock, but that overclock is ALWAYS a gamble.

Anyway, we always tend to set the bar too high.

yes my i3 can run coh2 and nba2k15 well in medium settings..i think my gpu is holding my default video settings in medium
