If I try to overclock CPU and GPU, would my power supply be good with it?

Here is my build:
-CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860k
-GPU: Gigabyte Windforce R9 280
-Motherboard: ASrock FM2A88M FM2+
-CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212
-PwerSupply: Corsair Builder 600W 80+
-Apotop 8gb RAM
-WD 500gb Hard drive

What do you mean by not designed for this type of use? Power is power, whether the system is overclocked or not. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to use a CX600 for these components regardless of how much overclocking you do.

They are tier 3 and are not ideal for overclocking. I would always recommend a tier 1-2.

A simple analogy is if I am obese and suffering from heartburn, and continue to run although I shouldn't. This isn't good at all for my health as I can either injure or kill myself from this. This is some sort similar to a PSU if you imaging carefully.

Heart=Life
PSU=Heart of PSU, or power up

P.S. Don't worry that is not me. I am pretty fit. ;)

This is a really awful analogy as heartburn has literally nothing to do with your heart. Also, the way this list of "tiers" is posted by whomever dottorrent is is shaky at best when applying to specific builds; if you're only pulling 350W at 28A, which is about what this system will be using, then an average quality 600W PSU with 42A on the 12V rail will have no trouble at all providing stable, clean power. They don't even describe any components in this list. Some clueless dude is gonna think he needs an AX1200 to overclock his 750ti.
