hello so I recently installed a new GPU which is Palit GTX 750 oc. it worked fine, then after two days my PC wont boot not even the bios. then I let someone look in to it and he said it was my motherboard.

So my question is did my new GPU is the cause? and also it doesn't have a 6 pin power connector and said only to draw power from the mobo which consume just 55w is this the cause? because I don't want to buy a new mobo just to fried it again.

here my specs

CPU: i5 2400 3.10
Old GPU: HD 4830 which consume 113w which is higher than my new GPU.
New GPU: GTX 750
MOBO: Asus p8h61 mle usb3
PSU: thermal take litepower 500

I just want to know which caused my mobo to be damaged. is it my new gpu? because it ddoesnt have a power connector? Many thanks and sorry for my English.

Edit: or is the new GPU faulty?

pull the gpu if you have onboard video clear the cmos see if the system post. I dont think your mb failed..the power supply in your build is not a good unit and may have just failed. did your friend try another power supply to see if it was the supply or the mb???
