High Preset 1080p

Cpu: amd a8 6600k
Gpu: Msi r9 280 - Getting soon
Ram: 2x4 1600
psu: Evga 600b
mobo: f2a88xup4
(feel free to suggest anything to improve fps, I also may be getting a x4 860k but I don't know if I should just wait until after I get my gpu and I get enough money for an intel + mobo)

I know there will be a bottleneck and I will turn down some settings and maybe bump down the resolution a little bit if I have to. There is a video with a similar build getting 80-90 fps on medium settings but I would rather have high settings preset.

Also what about games that are so cpu demanding will I be able to play ultra?

Oh okay then, well there shouldn't be any significant bottleneck, maybe 3-6 FPS.
Yes you could play Battlefield 4 30+ FPS but you would probably need to tweak the settings a bit.

my guess would be somewhere around 45-60 with a quad core and a 280, at high settings at 1080p. Like said ,you might have to tweak the settings a little to achieve solid frames. Overclocking the processor a bit will help if you're willing and able.

With that cpu, with a ton of action going on, you might get some low fps spikes, because the cpu will struggle slightly with the demands of the game.

Over all, i would say you can play BF4 with high settings pretty smoothly at 1080p.
