Looking to do my first budget gaming pc build in the next few months and I need some advice.

Today im looking at this TD barebones deal: AMD FX-8300 3.3GHz Eight-Core CPU/Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 mATX MB/4GB DDR3 1866 Kingston HyperX Fury Red Memory/1TB WD Blue 7200rpm SATA HDD/LG 24X DVDRW/Thermaltake CPU Cooler/Cougar Spike Case w/550W PSU

and im thinking of pairing it with this graphics card: MSI Radeon R9 270 Video Card - 2GB GDDR5, PCI-Express 3.0 (x16), Overclocked - R9 270 GAMING 2G - (3 FREE Games up to $160 value after purchase, limited offer)

Are they compatible? whats the weak spot in this build? Do i need to make any additional purchases if I already have a OS, monitor, keyboard, and mouse?

Solution
Compatible? Yes. Quality parts? Not all of them... Could you do better yourself? You bet! That bundle includes an older FX processor (this isn't much of a problem if you overclock), an old 780 chipset motherboard, cheap case, and a less than desirable power supply. Looks like they are clearing out inventory. If you are OK with assembling yourself look toward something like the build below. You can drop the CPU to the FX 6300 to reduce costs a little.. Overclock as you please.

NOTE: Don't pass up the rebates on the items below. If you are in need of a system I would consider the MEM and PSU "must purchases". You won't find a quality PSU like that for $25 and the memory is just as cheap comparatively speaking.
