so basically how do i make my hdd show up and how do i make local disk go on HDD.

Solution
When you go to File Explorer do you not see another drive mapped?

Check to see if there is a SATA cable going from the HDD to the motherboard. If it's connected then you may have to check in the BIOS to see if the HDD is showing up.
