Hello, I own a Lenovo y510p
I7, geforce gt 755m sli.

My question is, for the physx settings should I dedicate cpu or gpu? When i dedicate one of the GPUs all the applications zoom in a bit (web broswers, steam and etc) but when I dedicate a CPU everything zooms back a bit and the images are more crisper...so which setting is best for maximizing game performance? I already enabled sli btw...so should i use cpu or gpu for physx settings in terms of improving video game performance

Solution
Don't dedicate a card to PhysX, just leave it on auto. That means you have one GPU processing physics only, you want both to share the load on rendering frames.

Hi There....I've been using the same laptop over a year now. and based on my experience....setting physx to cpu is way better, especially for gaming purposes. lenovo y510 GPUs especially The SLI one tends to overheat/works way harded when playing demanding games like witcher 3, fully modded skyrim, etc...dedicating the physx to cpu creates balance between gpus and the cpu and both equally run at a decent temp w/ a decent performance. Though I must admit that setting it to auto/GPU gives more performace, the slight difference is not just worth of the "Life" of the GPU. so for me the safest way to go is the CPU. hope this helps. ;)
