Hello world,

Just wondering if anybody would know where to start, or is able to Google search better than I, concerning flipping/mirror imaging a PC screen?

After searching Google for a short while, it seems that people are using 'rotation' and 'flipping' interchangeably. Just to make this clear, I was wanting a result like this (as a product from manipulating this screenshot).

I've tried a few applications, all failed to either; flip the entire screen (showing mirrored content in a small pane), and to update in real-time. The Windows OS does use the term "Landscape (flipped)" (shown here), however this is merely a rotation of 180°.

An interesting Microsoft article that goes into right-to-left globalisation for certain languages (e.g. Arabic) was found here, in which it covered basic element re-positioning for mirroring. However, it was a more cumbersome process and only seemed to effect certain OS specific applications.

It'd be great if anyone could shed some light on a solution for this, good luck!

The use cases for this are pretty abstract, possibly only useful to those who are mirror-writers (either intentionally or have suffered brain damage) or use retro projection equipment. It just shocks me that we can rotate the display easily enough, yet there doesn't seem to be a simple solution to entirely flip/mirror the display..
