Hey all, a friend pointed me to this site for pointers on how to do this. Title says it all, as I I have replaced parts in a computer before but never a new functioning one from parts. The only item I have picked up so far is an Antec P100 case and is not a part of the budget I have allocated.

Thank you very much for your suggestions and help!

I have held back on the Peripherals, Displays and os as thats more a personal choice in my opinion Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE is the more powerful GPU at a cheap Price with a very high base clock and superclock you can add another one for 2 way SLI for more power and cheaper than a 980 and the PSU is fully modular to keep the case / tower nice and tidy you can upgrade it to a 850 also if needed.
