Ok so I just installed Windows on my new Samsung SSD and it is only 120GB, I have only the OS on it at the moment. Basically all I want to do is still have my HDD as a secondary storage device for games and so that I can access and play those games booting from my SSD and not have to save them to the SSD, not sure how to explain it well but hopefully you see what I mean. :)

Solution
When you install your game, you can install it on your HDD. Windows as an operating system will run the game but it will be taking any files, loading of maps and any access of information from the slower HDD. The best way to get full performance is downloading some of the games on the SSD, of course if you have too many Origin games, you might have to split them up.

The way my wife does it with her SSD is the OS, drivers, mouse, web is on the 128 SSD. She then has room for about 2 10-15 gb games she can play from her SSD with enough room to still operate.

Other option is get a 256 GB drive and run everything off it and use the HDD for storage :)

Ok thanks for that advice! Also if I already have the games installed on the HDD, is it possible to play them straight away or do I have to install them again for them to be recognised?

If you have them already installed on the HDD, then the short cut will point to the HDD. You should uninstall them and reinstall them so you don't have two copies. Don't forget to choose the best solution for your issue!
