cannot get into bios. first time assembly

FANS WORK, EVERYTHING WORKS. CAN"T GET INTO BIOS. how do I update bios without getting into a bios screen?

I turn the powrsupply on and fans work without turning the case switch on. I have a asrock FM2A88M-HD+ fm2+ cant get into bios screen. no diplay. the cpu is amd athlon x4 860k. please help.

ohh i'm trying it on without the case yet it on the box of the motherboard. even without the power sw, it turns the fans on but i cant get to a display.

I did the clrmos thing here and did it reset the bios to default?

but if it did, then it wouldnt support the cpu? cuz on the asrock website, the asrock FM2A88M-HD+ support the amd athlon x4 860k only on the updated version. how do i fix this?

FOUND IT! the default bios is P2.40. I need P2.60 for the mobo to support the cpu. whats a sure and safe way i could update the bio without blowing money. Or if some money is required, whats the fastest way to flash the bios?
