Can i5 4690 support the Asus Strix Geforce GTX 970?

Does this affect anything on the GAME performance?

Especially for Assassin's Creed Unity at 1080p at 60 FPS. Can the above specs support the game until this level?

Solution
gigabyte b85m-d3h is fine since you have an i5 4690 and not the k version so you won't be cpu overclocking anyway. Motherboard doesn't affect performance of a game really now unless the quality is quite cheap. gigabyte b85m-d3h is decent enough.

Agreed ,this game has so much speculation surrounding it at the moment ,the only thing you can be sure of is the name ,let's hope we don't get another black flag ,how well they optimized that ,thanks ubisoft

Thanks for the answer! :D
Haha, I'm just afraid the FPs can't run at 60~ :)

Yeah, I plan to use motherboards like Msi Z87-G41 or gigabyte b85m-d3h cuz it is in my budget. May you suggest your opinion of it? Cuz I heard the matters like cheap motherboard will cause the game not running smoothly and motherboard like gigabyte b85m-d3h, is it reliable for the specs?

Any opinion you have, please suggest it, I really appreciate it :D :D
Can't wait for Assassin's Creed Unity!

Thanks Suztera! That's convincing!
Im gonna buy it for this game, lol, never experience this since this game's gonna come out! Quite extreme this time...

How about Msi Z87-G41, is it reliable as much as gigabyte b85m-d3h?

Is 500W SilverStone Essensial 80 Plus reliable too? Is 500 W enough to support the system as well without overclock?

If the MSI Z87 is more expensive, it is not worth as you paying extra for not using overclocking feature on the Z87.
I would get a 550W.

If you can get the rebates it would be a deal.

Okay :)
Now, sure can play Assassin's creed Unity, right :D
Is the i5 4690 is under bottleneck situation of the asus strix GTX 970? Then, framerates may have a problem here for gaming?
