I'll be using models I installed and have experience with, there are many more out there, but it's a habit of mine not to suggest something, I haven't touched, worked with and "slept" with :)

Entry: ASUS N56VV-S4027 - he's ugly, but he'll do just fine. Moves somewhere in Your price range.
Mainstream: Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p - the SLi one. It's a helluva shot. Has red backlit keyboard, badass black design with brushed metal :) I love this one.
High-end: You already know him :) he's noted in my previous post.

Btw. I'd try to go after the high-end, if it's for longer time. If You mean it real with those games. Otherwise Entry and Mainstream will hold on just fine :)

Alright. This is new to me. I never heard asus being greater than these two companies. Would you kindly tell me some Asus laptop models that I can check out in a mid-price range? And also, if you had to rank these brands in order, what would it be? The brands being : Lenovo, Dell, HP, Acer, Asus and Toshiba.

shashwatiyer - no no no no , asus is in no way "greater" by any chance then HP, iBM/Lenovo, or DELL. No no, that'd be just wrong. Asus just offers much better "bang for the buck", performance-wise, hardware-config-wise, in general in every aspect. Asus has high malfunction ratio with their notebooks, which is purely sad and literally no support.

It's just if You want gaming notebook, go for Asus, if You want something for school and casual gaming, among those two models take "nicer" one. And that's that.

Btw. when goingfor Lenovo, I personally suggest their Think range of products. They have Think Vantage and perfect updater of everything in the system, e.g. Carbon X1 is state of art tank, but starts at 1500 eur though :(.

ASUS G56JR-CN214H - I'd break the piggy bank for this one if You want some pure gaming experience. Those entry level ultrabooks will just make You angry, this one will make all Your dreams come true :)

@uplink-svk - I haven't narrowed my choices to these two. I need a good laptop for college work, some heavy gaming as in FIFA, COD, GTA etc. And i know all about Asus that you just said. I am willing to go a little bit beyond an entry level laptop having those entry level GPUs which arent worth the money. If you'd help me from scratch by suggesting some great laptops which lie only a little bit above the mid range prices (can't go too beyond either) in Dell as well as in Lenovo or whichever brand is better you think, I'd be grateful to you :)
