Call of Duty Advanced Warface PC requires 6GB RAM, but I only have 4GB + 2GB with my graphics card.

For one is the 6gb the minimum or maximum requirements and that 4gb is that useable ram or just how much ram you have in the computer. You have to remember depending on your operating system you use different amounts of memory. I don't have the statistics, but you should look up what version of i'm assuming windows you're running. Another thing is your operating system a 32 bit or 64, if it's 32 bit then chances are you aren't using all of your 4gigs of ram. The 2gb gpu you have doesn't pertain to system memory. It's falls under gddr or Vram etc. Whether or not you have gddr3,4, or 5 is also important. Yea just checked the sys...

Yea just checked the sys requirements minimum of 6gb seems a bit high, but yeah as it is you might still be able to run it, but it'll probably run like shit. About the ram, do you have ddr3, or 2? I'm assuming you don't have 4 as it's fairly expensive and is fairly new.

If you own a 1080p monitor then it would run like shit. It is recommended to have at least 4gb Vram. Although, to have it run more smoothly, you will have to play the game at a lower resolution. and as for rams just upgrade to 8gb. It is cheap.

there is no game that actually needs 4gb vram at 1080p. So 2-3 are plenty enough.
About your question the ram doesn't sum up with your vram so you can't calculate it that way. you can play a game that requires 6Gb ram with only 4 installed but it will use the necessary ram as virtual ram from your hhd or ssd and at medium to low settings.

You are right, but if a game requires a "minimum" of 6gb you're best better be safe than sorry. Playing a game to have it crash on you is no fun at all. Furthermore, it is not an expensive upgrade. 1gb of Vram will run the game, but it would look like shit at lower resolution. This game is meant for next gen performance. His computer has worst hardware than my ps4. :p

Your video card memory has the least effect on your performance in games than your CPU and GPU. Some of the best Nvidia graphics cards only have 2Gb of RAM and they perform perfectly. What's more important is the memory bus width, 256 bit being ideal and 128 bit being... well to put it flatly "meh"

If you could give us more detailed specs of your computer, we could make a more educated, specific answer.

You can definitely play the game, but if I were you I would stick to lower resolutions in order to keep the game from stuttering and crashing. Try playing on the resolutoin 1024 x 768 on medium settings. Resolution has a much higher impact on frames per second than the quality settings in game.
