Are there any better deals for a GPU than the GTX 660?

So i'm helping my friend build a PC and we're trying to find a nice GPU that's not too pricey, and the GeForce GTX 660 seems to be in that area, as what I've seen in the benchmarks. I'm wondering if there are any other cards that may be better than the 660 for around the same price?

There is only a handful of games that support it and they are all very enjoyable with out it.
