Hi all I've been having a series of issues for quite some time, but the recent one being to do with system memory;
I have 4GB hyperX T1 at 1600 I believe. I've been using dual channel for about a year till system started freezing a month or so ago. I solved that and its now lead to my RAM when in A1 - B1/ A2 - B2 to not be recognised as dual only single. And it also puts 2GB as reserved leaving me with 2GB actual memory.
Windows 7 64bit
When I put my RAM into A1 - A2 it registers all 4GB.
I should also mentioned I have run memory diagnostic. I have also unchecked in msconfig the max mem. And I have done the BIOS memory mapping disable, nothing worked. Stuck and confused?

Hey thanks for speedy reply, I have the CrossHair Formula IV mobo
I have had the ram in slots A1 - B1 - which are both red slots, as well as A2 - B2 which are black slots, as well as A1 - A2/ B1 - B2 where it allows all RAM to be used with no massive hardware reserved.
I tested one stick at a time on the diagnostic it took ages at points but said it was supposed to. Came back saying it worked fine? But obviously I can't access dual channel anymore?
