I'm looking to get new monitors for a dual monitor setup. I couldn't find many reviews on the LG 27MP35HQ-B, so I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. Any other suggestions similar to this monitor are welcome. I'm looking for IPS/PLS display, no smaller than 24", and under $300.

Given it's specs i say go for it. It is great for it's performance to price ratio. There are other a bit better monitors of Asus in performance but they are either expensive, TN panel or 24 inch.
