I'm currently facing this problem on my PC where it connects to the internet just fine through powerline or wifi dongle but it's not loading any web pages? All of my other devices are connected and work as expected. I tried to do a restore from a previous backup from 10/29 but that still didn't solve my issue. It's really strange how its not working because I can connect to online features such as steam friends and chat, but nothing will load such in the store. Everything worked perfectly fine before yesterday. Please help as I want to avoid restoring my PC back to factory as much as possible!
My PC isn't loading anything from the internet, while all other devices are connected perfectly fine!?!?

Please help as I'm not sure if this is a virus affecting my computer and should restore is immediately, or if it involves a simple fix. Restoring from other previous backups gives me an error and I can only restore from the on on 10/29, which doesnt help with anything.

Check Control Panel > Network and Internet > Internet Options > Connections tab > LAN Settings
Make sure that "Use a proxy server..." is not selected.
If it enables automatically, even after being disabled, you should scan your system for viruses.

It was deselected. Theres nothing out of the usual, its just that websites and other online features do not work. Although I tried to do an earlier restore from 10/17 but it couldn't complete that and popped up with an error. I did install a jailbreaking software previously called p0sixspwn. Even though the jailbreak was succesfull, I deleted it anyway. But I think the virus could have still injected itself. I just now tried booting up in Safe Mode with Network, and everything seems to work. How come its not working in normal boot up?
