I have a CPU with Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 2.6Ghz Processor, with a graphic card of 256mb of Intel chipset G33/G31, transcend DDR2 RAM of 2gb, 500Gb Hard disk, mercury motherboard G31 (PIG31Z) and now i want to add 2gb ram as well as a 1gb/2gb graphics card to play video games specially NEED FOR SPEED series games (Most wanted, most wanted2, run, rivals, etc,.). my PC also supports 64bit windows 9i checked it).

so the question is what brand, amount and type of video graphics card should I buy to play NFS series games on my PC..??

Solution
You beat me to it, and well said, I agree.

To be honest, even with a video card upgrade some of the newer nfs games released in the last couple years will run poorly with your cpu. The last nfs game i played "shift" i found was near impossible to play with the keyboard, really needs a controller. But if you want to play some of the older ones a nvidia gts 750 or an amd r7 250 will get you going on a budget.

That's not specific enough. NFS is a very old franchise with titles dating back quite a ways, and has evolved into some of it's titles using very advanced engines.

Why don't you narrow it down to a few titles within the series you want to play most.

And it's not just your CPU holding you back on the more modern titles in the series. That 2GB DDR2 RAM isn't helping either.

Yeah, your tone sounded a bit lofty (wishful), and that verifies it.

I don't think that CPU or RAM spec would be worth buying a nice GPU for games like that.

In fact, before you answered, I was thinking the original Most Wanted would have been a bit wishful, but certainly more appropriate.

I am going to add more 2gb RAM. but confused between graphics card. And i confirmed that My Desktop PC already supports NVIDIA 210 graphics card. So should i buy Nvidia 210 graphics card or should try other graphics card, like AMD/ATI graphics card..?/

I also checked on http://www.pc-specs.com/ for a graphics card and i got to know that NVIDIA geforce GTX ti Direct Cu II 1Gb edition and nvidia GT730 v2 Zotac 2Gb edition, and AMD Radeon 3870 supprt my pc.

So shud i buy ?

a gt 210 doesnt meet the minimum requirements of most of the recent nfs series at all, and wouldnt even play the older ones well. you should be looking at a gtx750 or r7 260 or better, and even then your cpu isnt up to the task of the newer nfs games.
