Hey everyone,

I'm having some very strange issues with Crossfire that I'm trying to figure out, but as I come from the Intel/Nvidia world I'm not very familiar with common issues and fixes on this platform. I'll start with my system configuration is as follows:

Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z
Processor: AMD FX-9590 Black Edition
RAM: AMD Gamer Series RG2133 16GB
Storage: Samsung 840 PRO 256GB/Western Digital Black 2TB
PSU: Corsair AX1200i
Cooling: Corsair H100i
Graphics: [2x] XFX 7970GHz Double Dissipation in Crossfire
Monitors: [3x] Samsung Syncmaster PX2370 in Eyefinity

My main issue is this: Crossfire is working very inconsistently. In Crysis 3 it will sometimes enable and sometimes it won't on game startup. I know this based on two things: the AMD CrossfireX Status Icon, and my tablet running Trigone system monitor, where I can sometimes see in game that the second GPU is at about 0% load and throttled down to 300mhz core clock.

In CS:GO, it seems to always enable without having to restart the application as I do with some games. However, in CS:GO I get really bad microstuttering even though my performance in between is fine.

I've tried the following things so far:

Using MSI Afterburner to disable ULPS
Using regedit to ensure these settings and setting enableULPS_NA to 0
Tweaking CCC settings

And I'm still having very strange, transient issues. Any advice or solutions? I know I'm running a triple monitor setup at 5760x1080, but these days it shouldn't be an issue for a fairly high end system to run. I also know it's not a heat throttling issue since I have a large case (BitFenix Shinobi XL Window) and temperatures seem relatively normal.

Thanks!

This is a fresh Windows 7 installation as of 2 days ago, with new drivers.
