So, I've built a decent rig with the aforementioned GPU. However, whenever I try to run a game or test, my driver dies and then restarts. I have tried reducing the CPU clock down to 1050MHz, which improves the stability somewhat, enough to run a basic Furmark test, but it still breaks in the Witcher 2, after a while. I have tried the latest 14.9. CCC, the 13.x recommended on Gigabyte's website as well as 14.4 - no difference, so it's not the drivers themselves.

I'm connecting to my display (it's got speakers) with HDMI and I occasionally get static/distorted sound when I start up the Witcher, for example, with sound fully disappearing once the driver crashes for the first time. Also, I've tried pushing through these driver breakdowns, because the game itself can apparently withstand them - they just keep happening every couple of minutes. I have also noticed an apparent correlation between using Firefox and the driver restarting during one session (I have installed and reinstalled drivers and restarted the system so many times today that I have no idea how to reproduce this, though).

When stuff works, though, it works flawlessly.

I've been reducing the clock through both OC Guru and Afterburner. Furmark can run without hindrance on 1050/1500, although I am yet to give it the full 15 minute whirl. What are my options, guys? Thank you. I can provide any and all test results you might want to take a look at.
