I installed a AMD Radeon HD 7750, and a Intel Core 2 Duo E4700 in my computer. Before the install my USB speakers connected to the green audio port worked fine. Now however they do not work and also do not seem to be recognized in Windows 7. However it seems that the computer has identified the Graphics card for sound which I do not want. I've tried having a look at my BIOS to check if the on board sound is turned on and the only two options I get are 'Auto' and 'Disabled'. At the moment it is set to 'Auto'. There is no 'enable' option. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the USB speakers back?

The three option I get now are : 'digital audio (S/PDIF)', 'Headphones (bluetooth handsfree audio), and my logitech headphones. Again my USB speakers are not appearing in the list

You call them "USB speakers", but say they are "connected to the green audio port".
From this I understand that the USB connection is just for power and the green audio port is the audio output on your motherboard.
This means the speakers will not appear as an audio device. The required audio device is your motherboard.
The motherboard audio device may appear something like "Realtek High Definition Audio" or "VIA High Definition Audio".
If this is not appearing, make sure you have the latest audio drivers installed from your motherboard manufacturers website.

After uninstalling the AMD audio and editing the registry and reinstalling Realtek HD audio I finally got the speakers to work. But the next time I booted up the PC and logged in, Realtek HD audio manager did not appear in the task bar and it also does not appear in control panel. I checked MSconfig in it is in the startup list. My speakers do not appear in the playback device list like they did when I got them to work. So now my speaker does not work again.

You don't need Realtek HD Audio Manager to be running, you just need the drivers installed.
Realtek HD Audio is the device you need to select, not your speakers.

but realtek hd audio appears in the list of installed programs in control panel and thats it. It doesn't show in in device manger or under hardware and sound in control panel.

There should be a Realtek device under "Sound, video and game controllers" in the device manager.
If, not it seems like it is disabled.

Are you using hdmi from your graphics card to your monitor?
Does the monitor have speakers?
Does the monitor have an audio output for headphones?
