My friend recently upgraded his system and gave me some of his RAM.

The ram i have is this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220705

He gave me 2 sticks from this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145261&cm_re=cmx8gx3m4a1600c9-_-20-145-261-_-Product

My MOBO is an Asrock Z75 Pro3 with an i5-3570k and a 550w PSU
The CAS, Latency and speed are all the same but the ram he gave me is at 1.65 volts.
How do I undervolt it to 1.5 volts and will it cause any issues?

why would the MOBO have underclocked it to 1333? (I haven't installed it yet so I can't check)

EDIT:Sorry i7Baby didn't see your answer there.
Slightly off topic but what is the fastest ram I can use with this mobo? Newegg says
Memory Standard DDR3 2800+(OC)/2400(OC)/2133(OC)/1866(OC)/1600/1333/1066

Does that mean i have to OC the MOBO to use anything above 1600 or is it referring to something else?

No. You used to have to OC the CPU on older CPUs. But not now. Just by your ram at whatever rated speed and enable XMP in bios and away you go.

I wouldn't buy more than 2400 though - costs too much. I think 1866 is best price/performance at the moment.

You still do, try running 2400 or better on a non-K CPU. Most of the newer CPUs can run 1866 and many 2133, but above that, need a K model. And many of the entry level CPUs can even have problems w/ 1866. One way to get around the CPU OC is to run higher MC voltage, which also heats things up even more, and that's Intel, AMD is a whole nother animal, 1866 is generally good w/ 1866, 2133 and above will normally call for a CPU OC.
