Just installed the above GPU and I was wondering if others have had similar scores. I did not overclock the card, just out of the box:

CPU Intel 3770K
GPU EVGA GTX 970 FTW

1080P at Ultra setting
Avge Frame 107.2
Score 4485
Min frame 39.8
Max Frame 201.2

1440 P at Ultra setting
Avge frame 74.5
Score 3117
Min Frame 35
Max Frame 139.3

Wow, there's a large difference and frankly doesn't make much sense to me. Why such a discrepancy? Is Valley CPU bound? Even if it were - these differences are off kilter.

CPU: i7-860 @ 3.8 ghz stable (HT on) (Hyper 212 evo)
RAM: 8gb G.Skill ddr3 1600
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0
SSD: Samsung Evo 250gb
HDD: WD 1TB Black
MB: Gigabyte P55a-UD4P
Optical drives: 1 LG dvd-rw, 1 LG Bd-rw
PSU: Antec Earthwatts 650w
Case: Coolermaster 690 ii advanced
