Will my new build be able to run the latest games, (eg. COD advanced warfare)

Hopefully this budget build will be able to run the latest 2014-2015 games somewhat well, here is what I have:

Graphics Card: Sapphire Dual-x r9 270
CPU: AMD FX-6300 Vishera
Power supply: 550 wat
Driver: Western digital WD blue 1TB
Ram: Hyperx 240 pin 8gb
Case: Silverstone PS08B (Black)
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Sorry I hardly know anything about computers, my friend that is an expert will help me build this, thank you so much in advance.

Terrestrial :

You should use a better processor like fx8320 or fx8350 if you are going with amd. or go with intel i5 processors. other than that every thing looks good.you will be able to play latest games.

you can get gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3 if you are not thinking to overclock the processor
