Hi everyone i'm looking for a gaming workstation build. I will use this build for gaming (such as, CS:GO, Dirt 3, Grid Autosport, etc.) and I will be using this also for architectural rendering with programs such as Autocad, 3ds Max, etc.
I currently have this in pcpartpicker:

Sound Card: Asus Xonar DGX 24-bit 96 KHz Sound Card ($27.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $1070.02.

Since I will be using this for Architectural Rendering too, It's better to have the i7 because of hyper threading.

This will be my first build but I do know a little about computers

Budget doesn't include peripherals like monitors and keyboards but feel free to
suggest them

Thanks in advance

Solution
That looks OK. But I'd change the PSU to a Seasonic 620, XFX 650 or Antec HCG 620M.

You'll find the sound from the mobo is good enough to do away with the sound card.
