I got a new HP laptop this week. I decided I did not want the McAffie antivirus that came with the deal. I downloaded Avast Internet Security. Somewhere in downloading ( I left the room and when I returned) the laptop was locked up. After reading helps online I am now able to access password box but cannot type password in the box. Mouse is good...works with other computer. Finger is good, lol, am using it to type this plea for help.
**McAffie was not yet installed so it couldn't have locked up due to not removing it, first.
