Hello! I'd appreciate any feedback on the following configuration. This is my first build (through cyberpower) so my choices are mostly based on google reviews or other forum recommendations and not sure if they are too much or not enough for what I need. I am planning to use this computer mainly for photo editing with Lightroom and Photoshop and possibly basic video editing. Not so much on gaming as my husband already has his own gaming machine :) I would like to spend no more than $1500 if possible. Thank you so much for your help!

Yeah you'll do fine, the system is in the middle of the road for editing. In no way I would say it is overkill for photo editing, because it all depends on what you are doing.

As for video you'll do OK to good, just depends on the software and cutting techniques. Oh and sound.

Biggest thing is how many programs you will be running at one time. I edit with 4-6 with Adobe Master Collection and AutoDesk on at all times and that does not include web browser.

When it comes to editing, it all depends on workload and the amount you are doing.

I spent about $5400 for my system, and I am not even a full Xeon pro editor, so never let anyone say it's overkill cause it's not even close to overkill.

You have a good starting system, have...
