USB 3.0 flash drive stopped working in 2.0 ports works only in 3.0

I have a Kingston 16GB DataTraveler 100 usb 3.0 drive and it has been working fine for 6 months but now it has stopped working in all usb 2.0 ports. I have tried it in many other computers and it will not work in any port that uses usb 2.0. but work fine on usb 3 ! aby idea

Hey xshad0w. Unfortunately, more often than not, this is due to a hardware problem with the flash drive if this happens with every USB 2.0 port. If I were you, I'd backup the data from the USB flash drive and not use it for important stuff just to be on the safe side. Other than that you could try replacing it.
