Hello my friends wants to build a computer for music recording, making audio beats, and video.
He's not using it for gaming, wondering if anybody could help us out on a build. Hi's budget is 500 to 600 $
He will be using softwares like pro tools.
He already has a monitor, keyboard mouse and OS.
He doesn't want to buy a Mac because of the prices

Thank you

Your friend will probably want to get an external USB sound IO solution, something with a good headphone amp, maybe something with a little hardware mixer or other useful features, etc, that's obviously not included above.

The build above starts off in budget with a single 8GB stick of ECC DDR3, more of the exact same model DIMM from samsung should be added as needed (up to 32GB if necessary). The reason for suggesting an AMD build for this sort of machine is that there are many inexpensive motherboards like the M5A97 series from Asus on the AM3+ platform that support ECC memory, which is preferred for workstation use to minimize corruption errors, crashes, and downtime. Most modern audio production software is good about generating a new thread for every device (synth etc) so the FX-8320E should be a good value fit, offering lots of execution resources for its price class.
