What is a good pc gaming headset for $100-$150?(not a razer headset)

Hello, about a year ago I bought a Razer Tiamat 2.2 headset. It no longer works now for reasons unknown :??:

, but because of this I was wondering, what is a good non Razer headset that is within a 100-150 dollar price range that will last me longer than my pair of Tiamats did? Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance for anyone who helps out!

I use it myself and although it is SkullCandy it has served me very well for the past year and a half. Please note you need an S/PDIF (optical audio) port
available as the headset uses Dolby 7.1 surround sound
