I was doing research for my new gaming computer I plan to build sometime in December, I found two Graphics Cards that both have "R9 270" in the title. I don't know much about computers at all, so please tell me what the difference is, and don't be afraid to go in depth because the more I know the better. Here are the links:

(Sorry, also new to the forums and don't know how to make these links work :??:)
Thank you in advance:)

Oh, well in that case, the differences between the models are not as big. The only main differences will be the cooling. Most companies will use their own ways of cooling, some might be more efficient and some might be better under load, so on. So picking either one is your own personal preference.

Two things, your links are blank, and I believe you are talking about R9 270 and R7 270X. The X version is quite a skip ahead of the non X version by a bit. Even though these two cards are good, you should look at the R9 280x instead of either considering the better ratio of price to performance. Although I recommend the R9 280X, I personally have the MSI R9 280 because the MSI-X version was a little out of my price range. To cut things short, you should get the R9 280X if you have the budget, no matter which one you chose, these are fairly powerful cards with abilities to run high end games smoothly.

Although choosing a non-reference (Not by AMD) may have more efficient cooling, there is a downside. Because it is NOT a reference card, there may not be as many coolers available to it as a reference card.

there is a little diffrence in preformance and the cooling in the dual x is better than the standard but dont buy these card because there low end cards now and can run most games at med at 50fps at 1080p i would get a 7950 which is better than the 270 and the 270x its as good as the 280 but its also cheaper
