Is there anything that I can do to improve upon this without spending much more?

Intel Core i7-4790K LGA 1150
EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 760
ASRock H97 Pro4 LGA 1150 Intel H97
G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
CORSAIR CX series CX600 600W Power supply.
I already own the ram and the power supply, so giving me better, more cost/power effective ones will not help. But any other help would be amazing! I'm kinda new to this and I'm honestly very confused. Any input is much appreciated. Also, If there any additional parts that I NEED please feel free to tell me. I would rather not buy it when there is a possibility of something not working. (That was directed at CPU coolers, Not sure how they apply)

This is not my current rig. The only components that I own are the Ram and Power supply. The rest are upgrades that I wanna buy.

So if I did not care about overclocking but still wanted the same power to come from the CPU, what would be a good alternative? And how much would the cost differ? Also, could you like the alternative video card that you see as best fit for this budget? Also, thank you for taking the time to help!

Could you perhaps link the components that you were talking about? Also, what is the difference of a z97 Board?

Solution

plaintuts

Admirable
You need an i7 non k
For rendering and 3d models
16gb of ram 1866mhz flavor
For better speed at rendering

A gtx 770 to max out any game at 1920x1080 resolution

A low end after market cooler like an evo 212 to keep the cpu comfortable, stock cooler is ok aswell but the dust could build up on the ram sockets

Thank you! One last thing, Is the Video card worth it? Or should I buy a slightly more expensive one? To keep from having to upgrade again? If so could You give me some Ideas as to better ones?

Alright, for this build I have these parts (These are the only parts I needs)
http://goo.gl/WjlTxI (Intel Core i5-4690K)
http://goo.gl/o6qpES (GTX 970) Subject to change brands
http://goo.gl/LxlVb9 (ASRock Z97 Extreme6 LGA 1150)
Is there anything that could make this any cheaper? With similar power? I just want something that will run NextGen games and have no need to upgrade for a couple years. Less cost would be great. Also, thank you so much for all your help!
