A few days ago while gaming on my MSI gt72 (win8.1)on steam I had an unexpected crash in the program. Where the only option I had was to force close it from task manager. The screen was contorted and my cursor was only recognized in certain areas. After ending the program I restarted and lost all usb capabilities (between all 6 of them) and ran AV scan with no results. Cant even connect any bluetooth devices. Tried just about everything I could to resolve without contacting msi tech support. Had a buddy try various other methods earlier today but nothings working. Tried; sys restore, safemode restore, refresh, reinstalling drivers, Porting his drivers off his gt70. The usb mouse I use only works in BIOS though. Any other time it says in device manager that the hub itself is an unkniwn device.
I honestly could use any sound advice for this issue. The trackpad blows for anything more than a lightshow with the keyboard. Thanks in advance!
