Hi, I am browsing some CPUs and I see in their specifications the following:
Memory Channels Support: 2

what does that mean?
Does it means that it only supports 2 memmory sticks? or what?

When I get a 4 slot MoBo, it will use all of the RAM sticks or just 2 of them?

IT means that it supports 2 pairs of memory, for instance, there are probably 2 colors of the ram slots and it alternates(blue, white, blue, white) and if you are only using 2 RAM sticks then you put them in the same color. It just means that if it takes advantage of those sticks and combines them better if they are in the same colored slot and are the same memory size( 4Gb, 2gb, ect)

Dual channel memory allows 2 simultaneous memory accesses to be in process. For this to work, you should have identical memories types and sizes in the same color slots on the motherboard.

thanks for the comment m8, but my question was not about that ;)
and the topic was already solved/answered, pointless resurrection of dead topic imo ;)
