Hi all,

was browsing some online website and came across vendors who sell windows virtual key at such a cheap price and there are reviews of people who actually said it worked.

Now, I am looking for a genuine product but am waiting for a chance to nab on a deal/promotion for windows OS but to no avail as of now.

How do these people get such business dealings? How do you test its authenticity of the product?

These keys are not legitimate. They may work to activate Windows, but you would almost certainly be in violation of the Terms of Service and you may find yourself locked out of your PC in the future.

that means they must have stole a lot of boxes in order to make some successful sales via online vending?

You can't test it so if you get ripped off there is little you can do. The only places to get windows keys are Microsoft and buying the disc retail or from online such as amazon.

Unless things have changed Microsoft is the only place that is supposed to sell the key without a disc.

Im not exactly certian how they get the keys. They could have botnets get keys from infected computers, could have figured out microsofts key scheme, not sure.

I have had several people contact me though when they bought one of these and then it either wont activate to begin with, or after 30-90 days it then gives the not genuine microsoft warning.
